E-mail from Dr. Yoon, cut and pasted.

Trent,
The official radiology report is below. They agree with my assessment.
Regards.
Sam Yoon

HISTORY:
s/p resection of celiac axis
sarcoma r/o recurrence

REPORT:
This study was reviewed with Dr. Blake.
COMPARISON:
5/7/04
TECHNIQUE:
Contiguous axial 5 mm CT images of the abdomen and pelvis were
obtained after administration of oral and intravenous contrast
using standard department protocol from the top of the diaphragm
through the symphysis pubis. The pelvis was imaged to evaluate the
extent of disease.
FINDINGS:
The lung bases are clear.
The residual soft tissue
density described on the previous exam at the resection site is
less prominence on today's study. For comparison purposes, the
greatest transaxial dimension to this region now measures 1.3 x 2
cm (image 16), versus 1.7 x 2.6 cm on the previous study. No
other interval change is appreciated. There is no lymphadenopathy
in the abdomen. The kidneys are normal in appearance bilaterally
without hydronephrosis. There is redemonstration a cyst in the
upper pole of the right kidney.
He solid and all the pelvic viscera are unremarkable. Bone
windows demonstrate no osseous destructive lesion. A member of
benign zone islands are appreciated.
IMPRESSION:
Interval decrease in residual soft tissue density at the resection
site, likely representing resolving post surgical changes. No new
evidence of recurrent or metastatic disease..
