Wrap-up
Realized I hadn't given much information on the surgery save for the explanation of the adhesion. Apparently it's common. 10%ish of abdominal surgery patients get them. Every surgery I've had required a signed waiver form for just that possibility. So, in short, my surgery required surgery. Or, my side effects have side effects.
As the noted climber/philosopher Mikael Jewell once wrote, "there are advantages and disadvantages to everything. Even advantages and disadvantages."
Otherwise, I'm fine. Putting weight back on. I skied all weekend with Rodney Harrison. We're both thrilled school vacation week is over and the tourists have gone home.
