Shameless Plug #24.
"Dear Friends,
On August 6th and 7th I will join over 4,000 committed
bikers to help raise money in the fight against cancer through
participation in the Pan Mass Challenge. As you may know, the Pan Mass
Challenge is an opportunity to ride about 190 miles over a two day
period. Our trek begins in Wellesley, Massachusetts and will culminate by
the shores of Provincetown on scenic Cape Cod.
Unfortunately, cancer continues to touch our lives and those
of those whom we love. Fortunately, technological and medical advances
can make a huge difference in combating this awful disease. The more we
allocate financial support to research and drug development, the sooner
we can eradicate the perils of cancer.
Last year the PMC raised over 20 million dollars for the
Dana-Farber Cancer institute. This year we hope to raise more. It is
my goal to raise as much money and awareness for the fight against
cancer as possible.
I ask you to consider making a donation in any amount. Checks can be
made out to The Pan Mass Challenge, Jimmy Fund, DFCI, or any
combination. A credit card donation can be made online at
www.pmc.org/egifts by using my PMC ID # which is LB0123.
You support is deeply appreciated. Thank you for your consideration and
for joining me in the fight against this terrible disease.
Sincerely,
Lindsey Buck"
